I have a lot of sympathy for the Martells. Here's my take on poor Elia and baby Aegon's (?) last moments before they met their fate in Gregor's hands. I imagined the Dornish fashion slightly Greco-roman-like and i kid you not, Doran Martell in my mind totally looks like Peter Ustivov as Nero in Quo Vadis. Only a little bit older and much less crazy.
The characters are from the Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones series.
It's true, her hands are gorgeous in this drawing- so are her arms, especially the sense of weight you've managed to impart from her carrying the baby. But I love her face most of all, specifically her eyebrows, that perfect look of confusion and panic you've managed to capture. I love the Martells, and especially poor Elia- beautiful drawing. My new head-canon for how she looks!
Great, great, great. I love her expression, it's truly touching, like she doesn't realize what's happening, like it was a nightmare, but she's still a strong woman...
